Each year, thousands of fire service personnel from municipalities and industry participate in intensive, weeklong open-enrollment courses. Choosing to train during any of the fire schools enables participants to acquire new skills, meet with peers from around the globe, make new connections in the fire industry and to gain confidence from the best in hands-on emergency response training.
Options include the Spring Fire School held every March, then in July choose between our Spanish, Industrial or Municipal Fire Schools. Firefighter I & II courses offered online are open year-round in English. Other courses range from basic to advanced levels and are taught by hundreds of guest instructors, each experienced in specific areas of emergency response. Grants, vouchers and other funding for tuition assistance are available for Annual School participants.
